Exquisite Self Care: Return to Self

23 August | Sunday | 10am – 1pm

Life has a way of filling our calendars before we realise we’ve forgotten to make space for ourselves.

Exquisite Self Care: Return to Self is your invitation to press pause.

Over three nourishing hours, you’ll be guided through meditation, mindful movement, myofascial release, and deep release, giving your body permission to soften and your mind a chance to slow down.

Whether you’ve been feeling busy, overwhelmed, or simply craving a little time for yourself, this retreat is an opportunity to step away from your to-do list and reconnect with what matters most.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and refreshed.

What Your Morning Will Look Like

Sound & Stillness

Our morning begins with a guided meditation to help you arrive fully. From there, you’ll be invited to simply listen as I create continuous waves of the sacred sound of Om. There’s nothing you need to do other than receive and let the gentle resonance wash over you.

Myofascial Release

Using massage balls, we’ll gently release areas of tightness and tension that often build up from everyday life.

Hatha Yoga

A mindful Hatha Flow Yoga practice designed to improve mobility and reconnect you with your breath.

Yin Yoga

We’ll gradually slow things down with longer-held postures, inviting the body to soften while giving the nervous system a chance to fully unwind.

Final Relaxation

We’ll finish with a deeply restorative guided relaxation, allowing everything from the morning to settle and integrate.

Homemade Treats

No retreat is complete without something delicious to enjoy. Stay a little longer, enjoy some food, and ease gently back into the rest of your day.

FAQ

Is this suitable for beginners?

Absolutely.

This retreat is designed to be accessible for all levels, including complete beginners.

You do not need to be flexible, experienced, or “good at yoga” to join. The practices will be guided in a supportive and welcoming way.

What should I bring?

Just bring:

  • comfortable clothing you can move and rest in
  • a water bottle
  • an open mind
  • A yoga mat

Yoga props such as blocks and bolsters will be provided.

Is this a physically intense yoga session?

Not at all.

While there will be mindful movement in the Yang to Yin practice, the overall intention of the retreat is restoration, nervous system regulation, and self-care, not pushing your body to its limits.

I’ve never done yoga/myofascial release before. Is that okay?

Completely.

Everything will be clearly guided, and no prior experience is needed.

This retreat is designed to help you explore these practices in an approachable and supportive environment.
