Wild & Rooted

A Yoga Retreat In The Forest

9 – 11 Oct 2026 | Hill Box, Fraser’s Hill

Wild & Rooted is a weekend to get out of the city, get back into your body and spend some time close to the earth. Where the pace gets slower and the air gets cooler.

There’ll be yoga, meditation, a forest walk, optional birdwatching, nourishing meals, free time to explore and, yes, you are absolutely welcome to hug a tree.

Your Home In The Hills

For two nights, you’ll wake up surrounded by the forest at Hill Box Fraser’s Hill.

Think cool mornings, fresh mountain air, birdsong outside your window and green in every direction.

Your days will move between yoga, forest walks, shared meals and plenty of time to simply enjoy being here. You can wander, sit outside with a book, explore the surrounding roads or find yourself a quiet spot and do absolutely nothing.

It’s a place that makes it quite easy to slow down.

Hill Box is run by the same team behind Beach Box in Perhentian, where I’ve hosted many of my retreats.

I’ve worked with them for years and already know the level of hospitality and care they bring to their spaces. They actually told me about Hill Box several years ago, long before it was ready.

Now it’s finally here, and I’m very happy to bring you along.

“If you’ve been under a lot of pressure, feeling stressed, lonely or unsure about life, do yourself a favour and book one of Ariel’s yoga retreats. Go with an open mind and heart, and I guarantee you will leave feeling renewed, refreshed, rejuvenated and light, like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders, leaving you ready to face the world again 💜”

“I had a deeply restorative experience during this yoga retreat, which I wholeheartedly recommend. Everything had been designed with remarkable care and attention: the peaceful and inspiring setting provided an ideal setting for reconnecting with oneself; the activities were perfectly balanced between yoga practice, rest time, moments of sharing, and inner exploration. Ariel, the organizer, takes great care of everyone’s well-being. Her attentive, discreet yet always available presence helped create an atmosphere of trust and gentleness. The warm and caring group quickly formed a beautiful community, where everyone felt welcomed as they were. A precious interlude, one I will cherish for a long time.”

After three days in the hills, I hope you leave feeling…

Nourished: By fresh mountain air, wholesome meals, plenty of rest and time spent surrounded by nature.

Grounded: Moving your body, slowing your breathing and spending time surrounded by trees can help your nervous system shift out of high alert and into a more grounded state.

More at home in your body: Four yoga practices to stretch, move, breathe and notice how you’re feeling, rather than rushing through the day on autopilot.

Rested: A slower pace, fewer demands and some time with nowhere you urgently need to be.

Connected: Nature gives us space to look up from our screens and notice what’s around us. Add good food, good conversation and shared experiences, and connection tends to happen naturally.
